What if?

When something goes wrong, what is the first thing you do? Do you stop? Give up? Lose hope?

When you apply for a job but don’t get it.
When you make plans that fall through.
When you try eating heathy but give in to temptation.
When you hope for a promotion but don’t get what you deserve.
When you ask someone on a date but get turned down.
Or come across a bump in the road in your relationship.

What do you do when things get tough? When things don’t go the way you had hoped?

Do you give up right there and then?

Or do you try again…

Life will throw you all kinds of curve balls, and usually, inconveniently, when you least expect them.

arrowThere is no escaping the fact that life won’t always go how you want it to… but what you can do is adapt, and continue to strive for what you want.

Stay positive, even when it feels like things are falling apart.

Your life is made up of choices, and sometimes along the way, you might forget that you have a choice to either accept the current situation… or do something to change it. Stressing or complaining about things won’t solve any problems, it will just make it worse.

You know what is really scary, but at the same time really exciting? The fact that you could literally change your life at any moment… You have a choice as to whether you want to focus on what makes you miserable, to feed your sadness… or to try something new, focus on where you want to go and what makes you happy.

Your world is in your hands, and most people don’t even realise this…

At the end of the day you can either focus on what’s tearing you apart, or what’s holding you together.
What isn’t working – or what is…

There is always a reason why some things work out and others don’t… sometimes you are being rejected from something, purely because you are being redirected to something better that you simply can’t see yet.

So when life gets tough… what if you keep trying?

What if you fall? Oh my darling… what if you fly?
